1.What this covers

A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. The law here — the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 — actually covers anything stored on or read from your device, so this page covers local storage and app storage too, not only cookies.

2.What this website stores

A note that you have seen our notice before booking, so it is not shown again on every page during the same visit. It is kept in your browser's session storage, contains only the notice's words, and is deleted when you close the tab.

That is all. This site sets no advertising cookies, no analytics and no social media trackers. The only scripts it loads from elsewhere are Stripe's, on the payment step, and an open-source map library (Leaflet, from unpkg.com) on the live tracking page.

3.What our app stores

Your login, so you stay signed in between uses. On a phone this is held in the device's secure hardware storage rather than in ordinary files.

A copy of the last screen you saw, so the app opens instantly instead of showing you a blank page while it loads. It is wiped when you sign out, and when a different account signs in on the same phone.

Both are strictly necessary for a service you asked for. There is nothing to opt out of, because switching them off means you cannot stay signed in.

4.Third parties

When you pay by card, Stripe may set cookies on its own payment fields for fraud prevention. That is strictly necessary to take a payment safely and is governed by Stripe's own policy.

Where a live tracking map is shown, its map images come from CARTO or OpenStreetMap, under their own terms.

Google is used only behind the scenes, by our booking system, to look up addresses. It loads nothing on this site.

5.Controlling it

Your browser can block or delete site data for any site, usually under Settings, then Privacy. Doing it for this site only means you may see our booking notice again.

On a phone, signing out of the app clears its stored session and cached data. Uninstalling removes everything.
